Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our exercise education programs and guides.

Is this physical therapy?

No. Your Home Health PT provides educational information and self-guided exercise content only. This is not physical therapy, and using our resources does not create a therapist–patient relationship. Our programs and guides are meant to be general education that you can share with your own healthcare provider.

Can I use this instead of seeing my doctor or physical therapist?

No. Our programs are educational resources designed to complement—not replace—care from your own healthcare providers. We encourage you to share our materials with your doctor or physical therapist and to follow their personalized guidance for your specific situation.

What equipment do I need?

Most of our exercises require only a sturdy chair and comfortable clothing. Some programs may suggest optional items like light hand weights or resistance bands, but these are not required to get started.

What if I have pain or medical conditions?

If you experience pain during any exercise, stop immediately. If you have medical conditions, recent surgery, or ongoing pain, please consult with your healthcare provider before using our programs. Never ignore or delay seeking medical care because of something you see on this website.

Who creates the content?

All Your Home Health PT content is created by a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy with experience in home health settings working with older adults. The content is designed specifically for seniors and caregivers.

How do I access the programs and guides?

After signing up for a free guide or purchasing a program, you will receive an email with download links. All materials are digital PDFs and videos that you can access from any device.

Is there a refund policy?

Because our products are digital downloads, we offer refunds on a case-by-case basis. If you are unsatisfied with a purchase, please contact us within 7 days and we will work with you to find a solution.

Can caregivers use these programs to help a loved one?

Yes! Many of our resources are specifically designed with caregivers in mind. Our guides include safety tips and clear instructions to help you support a loved one with their home exercise routine.
